The festival «The Word of the Russian Heart» started in Beijing

MOSCOW, June 12The “Word of the Russian Heart” festival started in Beijing on Russia Day, Rossotrudnichestvo announced.
“Already today, at the Russian Cultural Center, residents of the Middle Kingdom will be able to attend a concert of the Tuvan National Orchestra, and tomorrow they will be able to listen to Russian folk instruments from the Baikal Quartet ensemble from the Irkutsk Regional Philharmonic,” noted Rossotrudnichestvo.

They emphasized that festival guests will enjoy a unique journey around the country through fashion shows, master classes, concert programs, quizzes, rituals and immersive performances.

Rossotrudnichestvo indicated that on June 14 there will be a grand gala concert with the participation of creative groups from all over Russia.
From June 12 to 15, at several venues in the city, including the Beijing Exhibition Center, built in 1954 according to the design of Soviet architects, concert halls of the Beijing Association of Literary and Artistic Workers, Jintai Art Galleries, the Russian House in Beijing, participants will enjoy fashion shows, gastronomic battles, concert programs, master classes, quizzes, rituals and immersive performances.
According to the head of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov, the festival will be dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. “Social communications and knowledge of the country’s cultural code are the basis of long-term and good neighborly contacts,” he noted.
The organizers of the festival are Rossotrudnichestvo, the Center for Creative Industries «New City», the Russian House in Beijing and the Beijing Exhibition Center.
