The Isuzu MU-X SUV has received a full restyling

The model of the Japanese brand has changed outside and received new equipment. In addition, the all-terrain vehicle now has a “sportier” RS version. The engines were not affected by the reform.

The Isuzu MU-X frame SUV has been in the current generation since 2020; it was created on the basis of the Isuzu D-Max pickup truck. At the end of 2022, the passenger SUV was slightly refreshed, and now in its production homeland — Thailand — the premiere of a model that has undergone a full restyling took place. The SUV also has a “sports” version, called RS. The MU-X's features include darkened window trim, black grille inserts, roof, exterior mirror housings, wheel arch trims and 20-inch wheels (the standard SUV also gets 20-inch wheels, plus 17- or 18-inch wheels).

All the equipment is the same. In Thailand, the Isuzu MU-X is available with 1.9 and 3.0 turbodiesels with 150 and 190 hp. respectively. Both engines are paired exclusively with a classic six-speed automatic transmission (the sister pickup also gets a manual transmission). The MU-X with a junior diesel engine comes only with rear-wheel drive; for an SUV with a three-liter engine, all-wheel drive is provided.

The price of a standard restyled Isuzu SUV starts at 1,184,000 baht, which is equivalent to approximately 2.95 million rubles at the current exchange rate. The “sporty” Isuzu MU-X RS will cost at least 1,659,000 baht (about 4.13 million rubles).
