North Korea reported the missile’s flight characteristics, confirmed by the South Korean and Japanese militaries. It flew 1002.3 km in 4415 seconds, the maximum altitude was 6518.2 km. The projectile “accurately hit the intended water area.”

Japan said the missile fell in the Sea of ​​Japan 250 km west of Okushiri Island. Tokyo believes that with a different trajectory the missile could have reached anywhere in the United States. Kim Jong-un noted that the “evil confrontational ambition of the United States and its satellites” will not disappear on its own and Pyongyang will not simply look at the reckless military threats of its enemies.
