A drunken Russian rammed a traffic police car with officers inside

In Chuvashia, an intoxicated driver collided with a traffic police car. As a result of the incident, three police officers were injured, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic reported.

As it became known, the accident occurred on the Nikolskoye — Yadrin — Kalinino highway. The head of the traffic police department tried to stop the foreign car, but the driver ignored his demand. The offender continued driving in the oncoming lane and crashed into a police car standing on the side of the road, which was next to a police officer.

As a result of the incident, the patrol car overturned into a ditch, injuring three law enforcement officers. After assistance was provided, one of them was released home, and the rest were hospitalized in the hospital.

It was established that a 43-year-old resident of the village of Batyrevo was driving while intoxicated. At the scene of the accident, the man refused to undergo a medical examination. The person responsible for the accident was not injured.
