From April 7 to April 9, the third stage of the Russian Autocross Championship and Championship took place on the autocross track in Gukovo (Rostov Region).< br/>
No other race of this season has been so rich in sharp moments and beautiful fights. Difficult track, sharp turns, high speeds and the desire to win. The final races kept spectators, judges and pilots in suspense from the first start to the last finish.
Championship of Russia, class D3-mini. Final races, top three: Zhigulin Felix (station 86, Verkhnyaya Pyshma), Bragin Lev (station 71, Berezovsky) and Yushkov Demid (station 22, Naberezhnye Chelny). The fight began immediately from the start, as Nenyuhin Nikolay (Station No. 66, Verkhnyaya Pyshma) broke into the lead, ahead of the top three, who was able to keep the pace and the first position. In second place — Bragin Lev, in third — Zhigulin Felix. The timing set a kind of record this year for the D3-mini class: the first four pilots finished one second apart. Such a density was not yet in the 2023 season.
In the next class of the Russian Championship D3-250, as a result of qualifying races, three strong pilots were determined: Diyarov Emil (st. 99, Kazan), Zharkov Timofey (st. 77, Moscow) and Voronov Semyon (st. n. 69, Moscow). Round after round, the guys kept each other in the final, but Voronov Semyon left the track, and Bessmetny Andrei (st.n. 91, Verkhnyaya Pyshma) took his place.
In the Russian Championship, the fight was even more difficult and unpredictable .
Class D2N, leaders on the starting grid: Mikhail Zhuzhgov (St. 15, Perm), Pavel Korpachev (St. 3, Kursk) and Zoloznykh Dmitry (St. 4, Kursk). But, unfortunately, the leader of the qualifiers, Mikhail Zhuzhgov, could not finish the final races, losing first place to Pavel Korpachev, second place to Govor Roman (st.n. 25, Novokuznetsk), who managed to break into the leaders from lower starting positions, Dmitry Zaloznykh is third.
In D3-Sprint, there was a serious fight for 2nd and 3rd place. The first three at the start: Andrey Badin (st. 98, Gukovo), Dmitry Dushkov (st. 17, Krasnodar), Petr Bondar (st. 16, Novorossiysk). Badin Andrei immediately took a good pace on his native track and did not let a single athlete go ahead of him. But for the 2nd and 3rd positions, after Dmitry Dushkov retired, Petr Bondar and Alexei Zaitsev fought (st.n. 50, Balakovo). According to the results of the final races, Bondar became the second, and Zaitsev — the third.
And, probably, the Super 1600 class races became the most spectacular. The pilots showed all the power and beauty of motorsport. Its unpredictability and complexity. The top three at the start after the qualifiers were: Pavel Korpachev (st.n. 12, Kursk), Alexey Matveev (st.n. 97, Smolensk) and Dobrovolsky Vladimir (st.n. 18, Moscow). And only one pilot from this trio was able to finish the final races. Korpachev Pavel and Dobrovolsky Vladimir were forced to stop their participation in the race and leave the track. Change of leaders took place several times per round. As a result, according to the results of the final races, the best became: Kharchenko Alexander (st. 79, Omsk), Matveev Alexey and Sochenko Anton (st. 9, Kursk).
Third stage of the Championship and the Russian Autocross Championship turned out to be bright and memorable. The pilots are great. Thanks to them for a beautiful fight.
