Restyled crossover Changan CS75 Plus again immodestly announced a new generation

The appearance of the Chinese SUV has been corrected, while the interior has remained the same. At the moment, a “traditional” SUV is available, a hybrid will be added later.

The Changan CS75 crossover has been produced since 2014, it switched to the second generation in 2019, having received the Plus prefix to the name (Kolesa.ru tested such a crossover ), because the old model remained in service (it was then repeatedly modernized). At the beginning of last year, a restyled Plus entered the home market, while the company itself decided to position it as a new generation — we are talking about an SUV with a “surname”. And now Changan has once again done a similar trick: the refreshed SUV that launched today in China has officially announced the third generation CS75 Plus.

Plus got a new frameless grille, like the models of the Uni family. Moreover, the grille is now one, while the pre-reform CS75 Plus had two design options. The bumpers have also been retouched, in addition, all versions of the model now have 19-inch wheels (18-inch wheels are also provided for the pre-reform Plus). After restyling, the length of the crossover increased by 10 mm to 4710 mm, the rest of the dimensions did not change: width — 1865 mm, height — 1710 mm, wheelbase — 2710 mm.

The reform did not touch the interior at all, except that they changed the colors of the finishing materials. “In the base” there are scoreboards (combined virtual tidy and touchscreen multimedia system, each screen with a diagonal of 12.3 inches), climate control, cameras, cruise control, a regular DVR, a panoramic sunroof. The arsenal of the top cross includes a head-up display, a face recognition system and monitoring the driver's condition, seat heating, an adaptive cruise, auto-braking systems, marking tracking and monitoring «blind» zones.

The updated Changan CS75 Plus is offered to customers with the same technology: these are 1.5 and 2.0 petrol turbo fours with a capacity of 188 and 233 hp. accordingly, both motors are combined with the classic Aisin eight-speed “automatic”, the drive in China is only front-wheel drive. Later, a hybrid with an iDD installation based on a 1.5 turbo engine will go on sale (by the way, a hybrid cross with an updated design was shown even earlier than the “traditional” model).

For a purely gasoline restyled CS75 Plus, they ask for 18,000 — 21,600 dollars, the price of the hybrid has not yet been named. The pre-reform crossover has not yet been removed from sales, and the basic equipment costs the same as the initial version of the updated Plus.

In Russia today, a modernized “first” CS75 is presented — without a “surname”. You can buy a crossover from us with a 1.8 turbo engine (150 hp) and 6AKP, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, the price is from 2,469,900 rubles (excluding shares). According to unofficial data, Changan is still going to bring the CS75 Plus to the Russian market, but it will probably be an SUV after the previous restyling.
