A rare accident occurred in Penza. According to preliminary information, the driver of the foreign car tried to avoid a collision with another car at high speed, but was unable to avoid contact. As a result, the BMW flew into a pedestrian crossing.
It is reported that by luck there were no people on the stairs at that moment. The injured driver, a 24-year-old man, was hospitalized with a broken leg and chest injury. To get him out of the car, EMERCOM employees had to use special equipment.
The accident occurred on one of the central highways of Penza – Pobeda Avenue – at 21.40 on Saturday.
The circumstances of the accident are being established. The foreign car cannot be restored.
There has not yet been any official information regarding the accident from the traffic police department of the Penza region.
