Medvedev praised the head of the Pentagon

Deputy head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Pentagon head Lloyd Austin named the real reason for helping Ukraine. Austin previously said that the United States is modernizing the defense industry and has halved funding for ammunition production due to the expenditure of shells in Ukraine. Medvedev wrote on the social network that he “revealed a military secret.”

“A straightforward and simple-minded person,” Medvedev said, “named the reason for the US’s participation in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.”

According to Medvedev, the US motivation is “not the fight for democracy against tyranny” and “not even a confrontation with Russia”, but “the need to modernize the defense industry” to increase output, “create jobs” and “ colossal profits.»
