From January 1, 2024, Otkritie Bank is increasing rates on the Piggy bank savings account for new and existing clients. The maximum return on the account will be 15% per annum.
The rate on the “Piggy Bank” for new savers will increase from 14% to 15% per annum*. The maximum profitability will be received by clients whose savings in Otkritie did not exceed 50 thousand rubles within 90 days before the account opening date. The increased rate is valid in the month of opening the Piggy Bank and the two subsequent months.
For existing clients, the base rate on the savings account will increase from 10% to 10.5% per annum. They can increase profitability above 10.5% per annum due to a premium for transaction activity:
- +0.5 percentage points for transactions over 10 thousand rubles. per month on any Otkritie cards;
- +1 percentage point for card transactions in the amount of 100 thousand rubles or more. per month.
The surcharge for card purchases is activated independently by the client in the Internet bank or mobile application. It begins to operate from the next month after connection and is accrued on the balance of up to 3 million rubles. on one savings account selected by the client.
Interest on the savings account “Kopilka” is accrued daily on the actual balance of funds in the account as of the beginning of each day, which allows savers not to lose the already accrued interest amounts.
