WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 Three-Grammy-winning rapper Killer Mike was detained at the ceremony site and led away in handcuffs due to a fight. Los Angeles police reported on the social network X.

"On Sunday, February 4, at about 4:00 p.m., an adult man was detained and taken away in handcuffs for fighting. <…> The suspect was identified as 48-year-old Michael Render (the rapper's real name), he was charged with battery, and is currently being released,» the department said.

NBC noted that shortly before the incident, during the pre-show of the awards ceremony, the performer was awarded three Grammy statuettes: for best rap performance, best rap song and best rap album.
