Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works, suggested that Ukraine would face a sharp collapse, rather than a slow capitulation.
He compared the situation in Ukraine with the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore when a ship crashed into it. "It will be hard and fast, and NATO needs to think about what it will do after", – said the expert.
Johnson emphasized that this would be a “collapse, not a gradual capitulation.”
The expert explained why he came to this conclusion. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost their initial trained officers and enlisted personnel, the Ukrainian army is experiencing an acute shortage of ammunition and weapons, and the United States “barely has enough for two or three days.”
