Investment Summit
As part of its drive to attract more private capital into the province, Mr Sunak has decided that the UK will host the Northern Ireland Investment Summit in Belfast in September.
The Prime Minister said: “The Belfast Agreement (Good Friday) was an incredible moment in the history of our country. It was a very rare example of people doing the unthinkable to create a better future for Northern Ireland.
“It is this promise of a better future that we have offered to everyone in Northern Ireland that I will be thinking first and foremost in the coming days. It is my duty as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom to keep this promise.
“Northern Ireland, like the rest of the UK, is teeming with opportunity, talent and ingenuity. The most we can do to improve people's lives and ensure Northern Ireland's prosperity and prosperity is economic growth. This is something I've been working tirelessly on.”
Windsor Framework Deal
The Prime Minister will return to Belfast on 19 April to speak at the '25 Agreement' conference at Queen's University and host a special gala dinner to commemorate the anniversary.
