The supporting bank of the Rostec state corporation and the Leningrad Region Entrepreneurship and Industry Support Fund have entered into a cooperation agreement. It provides for the provision by the fund of guarantees for the obligations of SMEs on the basis of subsidiary liability. The document was signed by the manager of the Novikombank branch in St. Petersburg, Alexander Sergeev, and the director of the fund, Alexander Usachev.
The agreement provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs of the Leningrad region to receive guarantees from the fund as collateral for loans and bank guarantee agreements . This is especially true for enterprises for which the lack of their own collateral does not allow them to obtain the required amount of financing.
In addition, the parties agreed to jointly provide consulting services to entrepreneurs, inform them about opportunities to attract financing and about government support programs, and conduct events aimed at building a direct dialogue with business.
< p class="doc__text">“Novikombank is actively increasing its work with the small and medium-sized business segment. Against the backdrop of sanctions pressure and other challenges, SMEs are adapting to new realities faster than large enterprises, establishing supply chains, so we are doing everything possible to increase the availability of lending for small and medium-sized businesses and expanding the circle of support recipients. The agreement with the fund will allow us to increase cooperation with entrepreneurs of the Leningrad region, as well as strengthen our position in the region,” said the manager of the Novikombank branch in St. Petersburg Alexander Sergeev.
