MOSCOW, July 8 People's Artist of the USSR, outstanding prima ballerina and teacher, choreographer-tutor of the Bolshoi Theater Marina Kondratyeva died on the 91st year of life, the press service of the Bolshoi Theater reported.

Marina Kondratieva was born on February 1, 1934 in Leningrad. In 1952, she graduated from the Moscow Choreographic School (class of Galina Petrova) and became an artist of the Bolshoi Theater ballet troupe. In addition, she graduated from GITIS in 1980, after which she taught there and then at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography.
Kondratieva has been a teacher-tutor for the Bolshoi Theater ballet troupe since 1980. Lyudmila Semenyaka, Galina Stepanenko, Anna Antonicheva, Ekaterina Shipulina, Natalya Osipova, Olga Smirnova, Yulia Stepanova, Margarita Shreiner, Nelly Kobakhidze, Ana Turazashvili, Antonina Chapkina, Nina Biryukova rehearsed under her direction.
