KHABAROVSK, July 23 Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called import substitution in the machine tool industry the most important task.
“It is very important that the process of import substitution is underway. Of course, in the machine tool industry this is not easy to do in a very short time, but restoring competencies in the machine tool industry is the most important task,” Mishustin said during a visit to the Dalenergomash plant in Khabarovsk. He noted the uniqueness of the equipment produced at the plant.
< br />“The equipment is unique — superchargers, technological equipment… — everything is needed for the mining industry, our chemical industry,” the prime minister said, adding that the largest Russian companies are among the customers of the plant’s products.
Mishustin expressed hope that there will be demand for the company’s products. “The most important thing is success in import substitution,” he admonished.
Khabarovsk machine-building plant «Dalenergomash» specializes in the production of compressor, injection and power equipment. The plant's products are in demand by enterprises of the metallurgical complex and chemical industry. The company has been operating since 2004. Revenue for last year amounted to 690 million rubles, the plan for this year is 1.2 billion rubles. The share of exports averages 12%. Products are supplied to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Georgia, and India.
The company is updating its production complexes, including using domestic equipment. Since 2021, the plant has been a participant in the national project «Labor Productivity», within the framework of which the flow optimization for the production of the AERO-IM supercharger gearbox was carried out.
