MOSCOW, August 1 Seven people injured in the collapse of entrances in Nizhny Tagil have been hospitalized, including four children, said Russian Health Minister Assistant Alexei Kuznetsov.
Two entrances of a 5-story building collapsed in Nizhny Tagil on Thursday due to a gas-air mixture explosion. There was no fire. According to the latest data from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, 12 people were injured, including six children.
«According to operational data, seven victims were hospitalized, including four children. Three patients, including one child, are in serious condition,» Kuznetsov told reporters.
He specified that three children and one adult were evacuated by helicopter and are undergoing treatment in Yekaterinburg hospitals.
Another adult patient is being prepared to be evacuated to Yekaterinburg, Kuznetsov added.
