Hero of the Russian Federation Klupov explained the mass capture of mercenaries in Ukraine: even American instructors surrender

Kyiv confirmed the capture of militants from the Mozart PMC near Artemovsk

The mass surrender of mercenaries from Georgia and Poland occurred near Kleshcheevka, in the Artemovsk direction. According to our military, they surrender in groups of 10–15 people. We had very valuable personnel in our hands – instructors from the American private military company Mozart. Now our special services are working with them. Military expert, intelligence officer, Hero of Russia Rustem Klupov, in a conversation with MK, explained why foreign mercenaries were captured in droves and which of them are of the greatest interest to us.

The fighting in the Artemovsk direction, the task of which was to divert enemy forces and assets from Avdeevka, seems to have entered a more intense stage. Now our army is preparing the ground for the capture of key heights near Kleshcheevka and Andreevka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to transfer reserves to this area.

It is noteworthy that it was in this area, and specifically near Kleshcheevka, that a massive surrender of mercenaries from Georgia and Poland was noted. They surrender in fairly large groups, 10–15 people each. At the same time, our soldiers note that many prisoners have frostbite of varying severity.

If some prisoners are forced to surrender due to unbearable conditions and the inability to conduct combat operations, then our military personnel take others into encirclement and force them to leave with with raised hands. So, on Tuesday, November 28, a video appeared on the Internet in which our fighters literally smoke out enemy soldiers from small holes in the forest, in which they hoped to wait out the danger.

Recently, perhaps the “fattest” catch became known. Our fighters captured two instructors from the American PMC Mozart. Both are US citizens. First, they received medical assistance, and now Russian special services are working with them.

Initially, Ukrainian resources made fun of information about captured Americans. However, soon all the jokes were over. “At night, our specially trained people in Lugansk, who work with foreign and important prisoners, were approached by opponents from their office and began to negotiate an exchange,” wrote one of our military channels, adding that there would be no exchange and all prisoners “will go as war criminals.”

According to the Hero of Russia Rustem Klupov, the fact that the mercenaries who are sent to the “hottest areas” began to surrender en masse indicates an unimportant situation with the enemy. Now mercenaries from different countries and with different motivations are fighting in Ukraine.

“At first there were practically no mercenaries in Ukraine,” says Rustem Klupov. “Then they gradually began to appear in the combat zone. And one of the first to arrive there was precisely the remnants of the undead Georgian formations that had previously fought against Russia. Then mercenaries from Poland, the USA, Great Britain, etc. arrived.

Mercenaries can be very different, with different motivations. Firstly, these could be active military personnel of NATO countries who perform their tasks on the territory of Ukraine. These are the most trained and valuable personnel. They are deployed at headquarters to plan and prepare future operations. Mercenaries at a lower level are used as instructors in combat training, in the study of equipment and weapons. But the majority still come directly to fight.

    — In general, mercenaries are divided into three categories. The first group includes the so-called people of war. They are addicted to adrenaline and need to be constantly at risk. Such people simply cannot get off the adrenaline needle. There are such in Ukraine.

The second category: professionals who want to make money. These mercenaries have already left home and are not returning, because they realized that Ukraine is a mess.

The third category: various renegades who did not have a good life in their homeland. Accordingly, they are ready to go on a safari to shoot Aboriginal people somewhere far from their homeland. Today it seems that in Ukraine there are most mercenaries of the third category.

    — A PMC is a commercial company that operates under the roof of various security agencies, such as the CIA. It recruits people to supply manpower for the war, registers in countries where mercenary activity is legal, or hides its true goals. The Mozart PMC is one of the groups that follows the famous American Blackwater, which was created to relieve the US government of responsibility for the losses of American troops in Iraq. They began to recruit Americans who had combat experience and who performed various tasks in Iraq for money. The main thing is that all the losses suffered by the PMC were not included in the official losses of the US armed forces. The Pentagon was not responsible for them, and thus they were able to artificially reduce their casualty rate. Now PMCs have begun to recruit mercenaries to conduct combat operations in the most violent and difficult areas of the terrain.

    — In 2022, there were about 40 thousand mercenaries in Ukraine from various military companies. In 2023, this number has almost halved and is steadily declining. I won’t give a specific figure, as it fluctuates.

    — As far as I remember, Poles were in first place in terms of number, then Americans, British, Georgians.

    — The indicator is decreasing because The Ukrainian side is experiencing great difficulties in equipment and weapons. Many mercenaries, realizing what was happening, simply ran away and will not return to Ukraine. Many who arrived have already been buried. The biggest losses, by the way, were among Polish mercenaries. About 2.5 thousand.

    — In general, mercenaries have a high combat potential; if they begin to surrender en masse, it means that their spirit has been undermined. As a rule, those who do not believe in their victory and doubt the rightness of their cause surrender. Mass surrender suggests that not everything is so great on the other side.

Recently I came across two reports on the state of affairs at the fronts: Ukrainian and ours. We have information in our reports that, say, in the Kherson direction we repulsed two or three attacks. The Ukrainian report talks about 18 or 24 attacks. They, of course, write that all attacks were repulsed with heavy losses for our side. But they can’t write it any other way. The point is different, we have two or four repelled attacks, and there are 18-24. This, accordingly, suggests that we have a more active position and, accordingly, the initiative is in our hands. These are the signs that we can say that we are doing everything right.

    — Indeed, we all remember the British mercenaries who were captured and then released out of some fright , after which they came to Ukraine again… At the same time, in captivity, some looked quite peaceful, they learned the anthem. Mercenaries cannot be trusted, and, of course, it would be easier to dump them somewhere and not get involved, but they are needed to demonstrate the bestial nature of the West. Moreover, for many, mercenaries become heroes they want to emulate. When we take them prisoner, show them their criminal nature, tell them what they really did, their pitiful appearance, the desire to imitate them disappears.
