MOSCOW, December 27 Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation Vladimir Mashkov became president of the National Theater Award and Golden Mask festival, vice-president Kirill Krok became the secretary of the STD, according to the official website of the Union.
The meeting of the STD secretariat in the new composition was held on Tuesday.
“The powers of the President of the “Golden Mask” were assumed by the Chairman of the Union of Trade Unions of the Russian Federation V.L. Mashkov, and the Secretary of the Union of Sports Theater of the Russian Federation K.I. Krok became the Vice-President,” the message says.
It is noted that the secretariat also supported Mashkov’s proposal to begin preparing a program and plan of events to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the STD in 2026.
In addition, the secretariat decided unanimously to create the Donetsk regional branch of the Union of Labor and Trade Unions of the Russian Federation. “Now there are 78 regional branches in the Union of Trading Houses of the Russian Federation. Preparatory work is underway to create regional branches in other new constituent entities of the Russian Federation,” the message added.
The next meeting of the secretariat of the Union of Trade Unions of the Russian Federation will take place in January 2024.
