    Luke Littler: I'll stay with my girlfriend whether people like it or not

    Luke Littler says his budding relationship with new girlfriend Eloise Milburn has only been strengthened by his time in the public eye.

    The 16-year-old World Cup finalist took Milburn on Premier League games involving Arsenal and Tottenham between their own. darts matches and then she was photographed kissing her after her quarter-final win over Brendan Dolan on Monday.

    Littler also said he and his girlfriend, who also plays darts, plan to visit Old Trafford soon for a stadium tour. “My girlfriend gave me a tour of the stadium for two, so I'll do that whenever I can,” he said.

    Littler said his daily routine leading up to Wednesday's final included a baked brunch at 12 p.m. toast with beans and scrambled eggs before heading to Alexandra Palace for a training session, a game of Football Manager on the Xbox and a margherita pizza before the match.

    When asked how many hours of training he spends a day, he said: “Only half an hour or 45 minutes a day, if I just train alone, it gets boring.”

    When asked if he “must have a lot of natural talent,” he replied: “Must be.” because I don't practice.”

    He said there was “no chance” of practicing on Thursday. Instead, he wants to return home to Warrington with his £200,000 second-place prize, admitting he didn't bring his Xbox to London because he didn't expect to last so long in the tournament.

    “It's been crazy – now I can't wait to get home – lots of days off,” he said. “I can't wait to play on Xbox again.”
