MOSCOW, January 4< /strong>Honored Artist of the RSFSR Konstantin Zheldin, known for his supporting roles in the serial film “Seventeen Moments of Spring” and the television series “Liquidation,” died at the age of 91, GITIS rector Grigory Zaslavsky announced in his telegram channel.
“< p>«Konstantin Zheldin, one of the oldest actors in Russia, who until his last days appeared on the stage of the Okolo theater, has died,» Zaslavsky wrote.
He noted that Zheldin, despite age, was in demand as an actor and did not leave the profession.

“I learned about this from the Okolo theater, where he worked in recent years. <…> Zheldin was a wonderful artist, worked with many great directors, not only with Pogrebnichko, but also on Bronnaya, with Efros, and with Goncharov, when he worked at the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya and Taganka,” said Zaslavsky.
< br />Zheldin was born in 1933 in Moscow, graduated from the Shchukin School in 1961.
Zheldin worked at the Bronnaya Theater for director Andrei Goncharov in 1962-1963, then with 1966 to 2000 — Taganka Theater. Since 2001, he served in the theater «Near Stanislavsky's House» with director Yuri Pogrebnichko. Zheldin is known for his supporting roles in the serial film “Seventeen Moments of Spring”, the television series “Liquidation”, as well as the films “Brother 2”, “Isaev”, “Adjutant of His Excellency”.
