An important addition was discovered in the law “on confiscation for fakes.”
A draft law was introduced to the State Duma, which for simplicity is called “on confiscation of property for fakes about the army.” However, from the point of view of public benefit and social justice, much more important than confiscation is another, excuse me, novelty: the ability to deprive honorary titles, for example, “People's Artist of Russia,” and state awards from cultural figures.
In fact, since the beginning of the Northern Military District, how many artists, singers and writers, who were favored in Russia, who became famous thanks to the Russian public, who became rich from the people's love, have spat in the face of these very people. The people for them have become (and were, but they were cautiously silent about it) not the same, the people for them now are dense aggressive cattle, zombies and orcs.
On every Brighton corner, every Israeli pillar or Baltic sprat, they excitedly talk about their hatred. At the same time, remaining “people's” and “honored” artists of Russia. This is nonsense. The absurdity of the situation is added by the fact that a number of “people’s” and “honored” people simultaneously received the status of foreign agents. Well, look: People's Artist of the Russian Federation, performing the functions of a foreign agent, Andrei Makarevich. How is that? Panties or cross.
It is obvious that the statements of singers and artists who were once truly loved, but who betrayed this love and their Motherland, caused and continue to cause rejection. The sane majority does not want these people to have the title “people’s”, so that they, having become anti-people, will continue to be associated with the people of Russia. The Ministry of Culture and other government bodies are inundated with demands to deprive them of titles and awards for boorish statements.
But here we have a legal hole. It is possible to deprive ranks and awards, for example, of a military man who has gone over to the side of the enemy or who has committed a crime incompatible with the status of the rank and award. A “people’s” artist for the same thing is not yet possible. This hole is being patched up by the State Duma.
The list of crimes for which the court (yes, this is the only way, according to the court — coldly and prudently) can deprive them of titles and awards is very wide, one might say exhaustive.
The “cultural figures” themselves, foreign agents, of course, Now they will begin to lament unconvincingly that all these titles are an empty phrase for them. Of course, what will be much more painful for them is the process of confiscation of their elite apartments, palaces on Rublyovka and other “acquired by back-breaking labor” property, as well as the inability to continue to quietly earn money in hated Russia from royalties.
And for the public, for the people – these titles are not an empty phrase. The very phrase “people's artist” sets out the essence. And “honored” is a title given for serving the culture of the country, and not just for being cowards with a peacock tail. What kind of people's artist are you, if you betrayed your people and hate them? Where is the justice here, what use are you to the people?
If you become anti-people, you can’t be people’s people. Healthy logic of a healthy society.
