MOSCOW, January 22. The singer SHAMAN (real name is Yaroslav Dronov), who became a confidant of Russian President Vladimir Putin, told in an interview what tasks he plans to tackle.
“»As a confidant of the president, I will do the same thing as and did it before, only even better: to serve Russia,” the musician commented. “As for the details, both I and my team are currently working on this, you’ll definitely find out everything soon.”
According to the singer of the hits “I am Russian” and “Let’s Stand Up,” becoming a confidant of the head of state is “a great honor and responsibility” for him.

“I support the nomination of Vladimir Putin for the post of President of Russia, because in this difficult time for the country, and the whole world, he is relentlessly leading our country to victory,” said Dronov.
This Monday, SHAMAN, conductor Yuri Bashmet, musician Igor Butman, coach Irina Viner, singer Larisa Dolina, ballet dancer Nikolai Tsiskaridze and other figures in art, sports, science and education received certificates of authorized representatives of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin.
The documents were handed over to them on January 22 at Putin’s central election headquarters in Gostiny Dvor.
The Federation Council scheduled the presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
