Surviving Falcon 10 pilot denies the presence of a million dollars on board the plane
Surviving Falcon 10 pilot Arkady Grachev denied information about the presence of a million dollars on board the plane that crashed in Afghanistan. Earlier, information appeared that after the crash the amount disappeared.
Grachev told reporters that there was no big money on board — only personal funds. They gave some of it to the Afghans, who came to their aid. The pilot reported that they had to carry some of the victims because they could not walk due to their injuries.
Recall that the Falcon 10 plane, performing a medical mission, crashed in the mountains of Afghanistan on January 21. On board were Anna Evsyukova, who was urgently hospitalized in Thailand and had to continue treatment in Russia, and her husband Anatoly. Both were killed.
Afghan authorities later said that the Russian plane was not supposed to fly through the country, but the deviation from course was due to technical problems.
A married couple died as a result of the plane crash.
The surviving crew members and doctors arrived in Moscow on January 26.
