Grafchikova said that the film crew, when they got to the event, introduced themselves as Izvestia journalists. The journalist herself, whose words are quoted by the publication, began filming on her phone because the operator’s camera fogged up. At that moment, the publication claims, security guards ran up to the correspondent and threw her to the floor, the cameraman was “attacked” by two more, and Grafchikova was “literally thrown out the door in her socks, and the cameraman’s camera was broken and the flash drive was taken away.” On the street, as the publication wrote, the correspondent was attacked by a security guard and two of Tliashinova’s assistants: one of the men began to insult the journalist, took away her phone, and then “completely began to strangle her.”
