MOSCOW, January 27 Defender of the French club Strasbourg Gerzino Nyamsi must undergo a medical examination in Moscow by the end of January to complete the transfer to Lokomotiv, the source said.
Earlier, the DNA portal reported that Lokomotiv was close to signing an agreement with 27-year-old Nyamsi. According to various sources, the Russian club will pay from 3.5 to 5 million euros for the transfer of the Frenchman of Cameroonian origin.
““It is planned that Nyamsi will fly to Moscow before the end of January to undergo a medical examination. If everything goes well, Lokomotiv will sign a long-term contract with him,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
Nyamsi has been playing for Strasbourg since 2021. In the 2023/24 season, the defender took part in 13 matches of the French championship, without scoring any goals. In three games with him in the lineup, the team played to zero.
Lokomotiv after 18 rounds ranks fourth in the Russian Premier League (RPL) standings, gaining 31 points. The gap to first-place Krasnodar is 7 points. In the 19th round, the railway workers will play Dynamo away on March 3.
