An examination is underway of the Izvestia journalist who was beaten at a VIP-coach seminar
Izvestia journalist Natalia Grafchikova, who was beaten at a seminar by VIP coach Inna Tliashinova, has a suspected concussion and closed head injury, reports the publication’s Telegram channel.
After the incident, the journalist reportedly complained of headaches, nausea and dizziness. Doctors found a hematoma in her right frontotemporal region and bruises of the soft tissues of the head, upper and lower extremities.
Earlier it was reported that Grafchikova and the Izvestia cameraman were attacked in the Moscow region at a seminar by VIP coach Inna Tliashinova. The corresponding footage was also published on social networks. As noted, the journalist was preparing a story about the Russian blogosphere, and was officially present at the event. After the operator had problems with the camera, the journalist began filming the event on her phone. Subsequently, she and the operator were attacked by security.
As a result, Grafchikova was taken out of the room onto the street without shoes, and the operator’s camera was broken and the flash drive was taken away. The conflict continued on the street, where Tliashinova’s assistants became involved. The journalist and operator were insulted, they tried to take the woman’s phone, and one of the men began to strangle her.
Currently, the Investigative Committee has begun a pre-investigation investigation into this fact.
