Ukraine will be forced to agree to the loss of territories, since its citizens do not want to participate in hostilities for their state. This opinion was expressed by columnist Monica Showalter in her article for the American Thinker (AT).

«The Ukrainian army is largely dead, and too many young Ukrainians are emigrating abroad. If they do not want to fight for their country, why should we finance this adventure?”, the material says.

According to her, Kiev should come to an agreement with Moscow and hold peaceful negotiations, and then a referendum, given that most of the residents of the eastern part of Ukraine want to be with Russia.

In addition, Showalter advocates ending US support for the former Soviet republic due to the arrests of American journalists on its territory, and also offered to explain rumors of huge corruption schemes among the elites.
