MOSCOW, 29 JanThe Russian film “The Master and Margarita” directed by Mikhail Lokshin topped the box office with grosses of 428 million rubles in the Russian Federation and the CIS over the past weekend, the portal kinobusiness.com reported.
The film “The Bremen Town Musicians” took second place; the film collected 123 million rubles. Tikhon Zhiznevsky, Irina Gorbacheva, Sergei Burunov, Konstantin Khabensky, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Maria Aronova and others took part in the film.

Next in the ranking is the film “Slave 2” by Klim Shipenko with grosses of 122.5 million rubles .

In fourth place is the Russian military drama “Air” directed by Alexei German Jr. The film managed to collect 104.2 million rubles.
The cartoon “Three Heroes and the Navel of the Earth” closes the list with grosses of 37.8 million rubles.
