Earlier on Sunday, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian air defense systems shot down 22 Vampire MLRS shells in the sky over the Belgorod region. The incident occurred around 17:50 Moscow time. Shortly before this, a missile threat was declared in Belgorod and the Belgorod region.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces carry out strikes on the Belgorod region every day. In particular, earlier on Sunday, Ukrainian troops attacked the village of Tsapovka in the Borisov region. As a result, the driver of the agricultural enterprise received shrapnel wounds to his arms and legs. Doctors took the man to city hospital No. 2, he is receiving all the necessary medical care.
