Later, legislators were shown x-rays of the bodies, which allegedly showed implants made of rare metals. They say that one of them had eggs in his stomach.
Speaking under oath, Mr Maussan said scientists from the Autonomous National University of Mexico tested the DNA of the corpses and found that almost a third of it was of “unknown” origin. The institution was contacted for comment.
However, the TV presenter is considered an unreliable figure after similar claims about five “alien” corpses discovered in Peru in 2017.
Experts later said they were human remains that were “maliciously manipulated and even mutilated… for commercial exploitation.”

Mr Maussan also insisted that the body of what is believed to be a mummified Indian child is a crashed alien. on Earth in 1947.
Mr. Maussan told members of parliament, according to Mexican media: “These specimens are not part of our earthly evolution… [they are] about a thousand years old, so they are not creatures.” . which were found on wrecked ships.
“Rather, they are creatures that were buried in mines with diatoms [algae], which dry out the bodies, preventing bacteria or fungi from growing. Therefore, this allowed the preservation of these bodies.»
There has been a recent surge of interest in the existence of aliens: last year the US Congress held the first hearings on UFOs since the 1970s.
«Mexico will be the first country in the world to acknowledge the presence of non-humans on the planet,” Mr Maussan said at a press conference this month.
The hearing was first announced by Mexican representative Sergio Gutierrez. Luna, a ufologist friend who believes this could lead to «unidentified aerial phenomena legislation.»
What «alien corpses» might actually be
He added: «Mexico needs to put itself first and listen to all voices and all opinions. I have said this many times, this is the house of the people — the Chamber of Deputies. Everyone is welcome here.»
Ryan Graves, a US Navy pilot, also spoke with Mexican lawmakers and suggested there was stigma attached to reporting UFO sightings.
He told politicians in July. on Capitol Hill that his squadron encountered UFOs «virtually on a daily basis,» claiming that one of the craft resembled a «dark gray or black cube inside a transparent sphere.» NASA will release the results of a UFO sighting study this week , which he ordered last year. Over the past two years, the Pentagon has received 350 reports of UFOs, 171 of which remain unexplained.
