The government has promised to make driverless cars legal in on UK roads by 2025
Despite their concerns, transport MPs said the sector has the potential to become a “British success story”. They called on ministers to speed up legislation to clarify the status of driverless cars on the roads and said failure to do so would cause “significant and long-term harm” to the industry.
