MOSCOW, November 28. In Rostov-on-Don, the leader of the Kazan organized crime group (OCG) «Kinofilnka» from the 1990s, involved in a number of murders and attempts, as reported in the Telegram channel of the RF IC.
““In the Republic of Tatarstan, a native of Kazan is accused of committing a series of grave and especially grave crimes… The court, at the request of the investigator, chose a preventive measure against him in the form of detention,” the release says.
As the investigation notes, the former bandit, and now a 61-year-old man, is accused of murder, banditry, organizing a criminal community, attempted murder, theft and illegal possession of weapons of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR and the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to investigators, in 1997, the accused and his accomplices created the Kinofilnka criminal group in Kazan, whose members committed a series of serious and especially serious crimes in Kazan, Buinsk and the Zelenodolsk region, including murder and attempted murder.
Personally, the accused, as noted by the RF Investigative Committee, is involved in three murders and an attempt on the life of two more people. The circumstances of these crimes have not yet been disclosed in the release.
In 2011, 15 participants of Kinofilka were sentenced by the court to various terms of imprisonment. At that time, the leader managed to escape from the investigation, he was put on the wanted list and detained 12 years later, last Sunday in Rostov-on-Don.
