MOSCOW, December 8 Presenter Maria Sittel became the winner of TEFI in the “Host of a daytime information program” category, the official Telegram channel of the award reported.
The second day of the award ceremony takes place in Moscow at the Marriott Imperial Plaza Hotel. Awards are given to the winners of nominations in the category of information and socio-political broadcasting.
““I will be extremely glad to announce this name now, because I have known this person for a long time. A wonderful mother of five children. A beautiful woman. My friend… Maria Sittel,” said Honored Master of Sports of Russia Svetlana Zhurova.
Also, the REN TV TV channel, the REN TV News program, was declared the winner in the daytime information program category.

TEFI is an industrial television award awarded for the highest achievements in the field of television arts. The award was established by the Academy of Russian Television Foundation on December 21, 1994. The winners of the National Television Award receive the «TEFI» prize: a bronze figurine «Orpheus» by sculptor Ernst Neizvestny.
