MOSCOW, April 1. Russian screenwriter and actor, former captain of the KVN team «Odessa Gentlemen» Svetoslav Pelishenko died at the age of 72, film critic and columnist Susanna Alperina reported in her Telegram channel.
«»Slava, Svetoslav Pelishenko has passed away <…>. Smart, talented, decent and, it seemed, always calm,” Alperina wrote.
The cause and circumstances of the screenwriter’s death are not disclosed.
Pelishenko was the captain of the Odessa State University team «Odessa Gentlemen», which twice became the league champion in Soviet times, has worked in Moscow since 1991. Pelishenko was one of the authors of the programs “Town”, “Blue Light on Shabolovka”, “Saturday Evening”, “Song of the Year”, various musicals and other shows.
Filmography includes several works, including a cameo role in series «My Fair Nanny».
