Nine Roscosmos officials were subject to sequestration: the position of “executive director” was abolished

The positions of executive directors of Roscosmos are being eliminated. This decision, according to a source in the space industry, was recently made by the Supervisory Board of the Civil Code.

Rumors that the executive directorates of Roscosmos will be liquidated have been circulating since the winter. However, before the election of the country's president, the procedure for changing the structure was slowed down.

Now, among other officials, there are nine of them, and the only cosmonaut in the leadership of Roscosmos, Sergei Krikalev, is also subject to sequestration. Until recently, he was the executive director of the Group of Companies for manned programs. However, unlike other directors, whose further fate is still unknown, Hero of the USSR and Hero of Russia Krikalev, who is the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative for international cooperation in space, seems to be left at Roscosmos.
