Ignat: the UFO incident in Poland is a signal to the West

The situation with an unidentified object that violated Polish airspace is a signal to the West about the need to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense. This was stated by the representative of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat.

As local media write, he expressed confidence that in order to prevent such incidents, it is necessary to provide Ukraine with the necessary amount of air defense systems.

“This is still one signal to our partners that we become a shield between Russia and Europe. We protected ourselves and them,” said Ignat.

Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda convened an urgent meeting with the military because of an unidentified flying object that entered the republic’s space from Ukraine. In this regard, the country has put all military forces on combat readiness.
