The headquarters of the Polish Border Guard reports on its website that on May 1, Polish patrols were attacked twice on the Polish-Belarusian border while suppressing attempts to illegally enter migrants from third countries countries.

During one of the attacks, a border police officer was hit in the face with a rock and required medical attention. In another incident, a Polish soldier was hit in the face with a stone.

On May 1, 113 attempts to illegally enter Poland were recorded, and over the past three days there have been 469 such attempts.

In in particular, it is reported that a citizen of Ukraine was detained, who was transporting three illegal immigrants from Armenia; six more detainees are citizens of Poland.

Several times in recent days, Polish border guards have provided assistance to foreigners. A total of 10 foreigners were taken to the hospital, including a pregnant woman, presumably from Iran.
