MOSCOW, February 8 Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated foreign scientists on Science Day, who, despite attempts to create barriers to communication, continue contacts with Russians colleagues.
On Thursday he spoke at a gala evening in the Kremlin dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The President of the Russian Federation recalled that it is on the birthday of the Russian Academy of Sciences that Russian Science Day is celebrated.

I would like to congratulate all citizens of our country on the anniversary of the RAS and, of course, academicians, corresponding members, employees of the academy, all scientists of the country and, I will add, our foreign colleagues who (continue cooperation) despite all the restrictions, prohibitions and barriers,” – Putin said.
