VKS use one and a half ton FAB-1500
The Ukrainian Armed Forces grouping in Avdeevka has been under heavy fire from Russian aviation and artillery for many days. The cannonade is clearly audible in Donetsk. On February 12, the first results of massive strikes with one and a half ton gliding bombs on the most serious fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces became known: our VKS managed to destroy a buried command post (CP).
We would like to remind you that since last week the Russian army began launching massive air strikes on the Avdeevka garrison to make the work of our assault units easier. First of all, attacks are being made on the Coke and Chemical Plant. This is a “city within a city”, in which there are buried underground communications, where the enemy has stationed his personnel, as well as huge warehouses and military equipment.
As a number of information resources reported on Monday, as a result of a precise strike on Koksokhim, one and a half ton FAB-1500 bombs destroyed the buried command post of the special operations forces (SSO) of Ukraine. “According to confirmed data, a dozen officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces were killed, more than 20 were killed in the 300s (wounded – MK)“, one of the military channels reported.
According to him, the attack was carried out by the Russian Aerospace Forces with several gliding bombs on the evening of February 11.
